We have an '01 Marquis and have a "HOWARD STEERING UNIT" installed by the factory in San Antonio.
The company, River City Products, has closed due to the illness of the owner/developer. Our unit has since ceased to operate and we wonder if anyone knows if the units are being serviced anywhere. This is/was a wonderful product and my husband really misses it to relieve driver fatigue due to steering wandering while traveling.  Bob and Linda Smith F121513

Know what you mean regarding the HPS unit.  I had one on my 99 Pat Thunder.  My unit ceased to function once and when I looked at the reservoir for the units fluid, I found than it was way down.  When I filled it, my unit returned to work normally.

Don't know where you are located but if you are near Mesa/Phoenix, AZ I will lookup in my records and find the name of the place that installed mine.  They may be able to help.

Let me know.

There are several RV service centers listed on the net as howard power center steering  system installation and service centers. Probably one of the best places to call for help is Iron Horse RV in San Antonio Texas. Iron Horse is located just a few minutes from the old Howard Steering factory, and used to do a lot of installations for them after the factory quit doing installations in 2006.

Ditto on our 2000 Patriot.  Our fill point and site glass for the fluid level is next to the inverter in the passenger side front storage  compartment.  Once filled it worked.

I sent you an e-mail with this information, but we have the Howard Steering System.  It was installed by Iron Horse RV on our 2002 Patriot Thunder when Howard Systems stopped doing the installations.  Iron Horse RV has some parts for the system, but not many.  They do have a very good working knowledge of the system.  They transferred our Howard System from our 2002 PT to our 2008 Marquis, and they had to make some modifications when they moved it.  I sent you the information on how to contact Iron Horse RV in the e-mail.
