Our 2006 Monterey's dump switch does not dump the air bags. Before I begin delving into crooks & crannies ... does someone have a hint as where to begin trouble-shooting? Thanking you in advance. Tom

Usually the best place for information and trouble shooting hints is the manufacturer's website. Write down as much information as you have (model number, etc.) as there are many different units. Then go to the manufacturer's website (HWH or Power Gear) and a search of available literature should give you as much information as there is available.

Most computerized leveling systems are not easy to diagnose, and if you cannot find a loose or corroded connection (esp. at the air dump solenoid) you may have to see a tech that is experienced in your brand of leveling system.
