I have a patriot thunder 04, one side window that you lift up and lock in place the frame came loose. What type of adhesive do you use to reattach this frame. what is on there now is black in color.

I am not sure what your window used for an adhesive, but cars use a moisture curing urethane to set windshields and other stationary glass. It is available at some parts houses or any automotive glass shop. It is very strong, but it is also very difficult to clean-up. So if you use it be very careful, because if you get it on cloth, it will not come out.
