Our backup camera failed recently. It's a Sony VCB-MH1.

The camera is obsolete, and the replacement model is $449.

I called Sony. They no longer make or support that model, but they referred me to River Park, their authorized repair vendor.

River Park told me they would bench test it for $40. I sent it to them, and they verified that it was the camera, not the strange Monaco adapter cable between the camera and the power/video/audio cables in the coach. They told me that they had about five used cameras on the shelf. I bought one of those for $200. They waived the bench test fee. The used cameras have a 90-day warranty.

The used one looks like new and works fine.
