I fully extended and then retracted my popped out slide several weeks ago.  It hasn't creeped back out since.  Hopefully I won't need to replace any solenoids after all.  I did not hold the switch after the slide was in and don't think it's really advantageous.

Check in the bay (drivers side) I had a hydraulic hose rupture a few years ago made a real mess and expensive. Slide was doing the same thing. 2001 Patriot
