is it possibel to get a quote without sharing your social security number?

Do not mind providing drivers liscence number but have a problem sharing social security on the web.

We have just spoken with Ron Jarvis at Overland Insurance.  He has assured us that his web site is absolutely secure, but they have no control over the small chance that there is spy ware on your computer. If your computer is not secure or there is someone listening in at your end they have no control over that.  

Ron says they can give you a quote without a Social Security number.  The SS # is used to determine your financial responsibility score.  This score can affect your rate by as much as 20%..  If you feel insecure using the Internet for your quote, you can get a quote over the phone.
