I just had the Thermal Switch recall done on my Norcold 1200 LRIM refer.  They say that they will send you a $50 rebate after the service is done.  Do you have to apply for this and send them a rebate form or something?  Or do they have it all on their records and do it automatically?  Thanks for any info, Mike

I had a card that I got from Norcold, or the repair shop, that I had to send in along with the work order from the repair shop.  I think I mailed mine back in March or April, and I haven't got the fuel card yet.

I sent the card, and got the $50.00 Shell fuel card back.  Additionally, for those that still have problem with cooling.  There is a replacement cover over the flue that Norcold is sending out.  It is for deflecting the downdraft of air while you are going down the road.  Have not tried it yet.... So not sure if it works.

I got tried of waiting for a reply, so I called Norcold.  They asked for the info I sent to them, and they gave me a "work order number".  I called Camping World with the number, and they ordered the replacement parts.  Now I'm waiting for Camping World to call and tell me the parts are in, and to schedule an appointment!  Good thing I haven't had plans to go anywhere anytime soon

BTW, scheduled my appointment with Camping World (which was this past Friday) and got-r-done! So what do I have to do about the $50 "gas" card? That should get me about 15 gallons of diesel
