I have a 04 Marquis.  The other day when pulling into parking my "air low" alert came on with associated drop in pressure.  When lowering the tag axle it stopped and returned to normal.  I appears to lose air when the tag is raised.  Anyone have experience with this problem?

Thanks,

Don

Don, You have an air bag that lifts your tag. It only has air in it in the up position.  You have a bad air bag or air line. RoyMueller

I have had the same problem 4 times on my 2004 Patriot Thunder (111600 miles). The diaphragm in the air can that lifts the tag blows. It can be either the one on the left or right tag.  Monoco covered it twice under warentee.  Freightliner in French Camp CA charged me $400 to repair it 3 years ago.  Last year I fixed it myself for $50.  The service chamber part number is 0008F/MGM.  I kept the old service chamber and replaced the blown diaphragm for a spare.
