1. I'm wondering what the average age of the coaches is that belong to BAC members.
2. How much does Monaco contribute to BAC?
3. Does anyone know for sure why (no guessing now) the Beaver brand was dropped?  Has they given an official reason why there is no more Beaver brand? Does Holiday Rambler have more of a following than Beaver has or I should say had?  I thought Beaver had an excellent and better overall reputation than Holiday Rambler.  I am so disappointed in their decision not to continue on with the Beaver brand.

I've thought about this for a long time and talking with other Beaver owners I find out that I'm not the only one that sort of is "cranky" about this.

I'll volunteer an attempt at answers....

1. I'm wondering what the average age of the coaches is that belong to BAC members.
-- I don't think anyone has statistics on that.  The Harrisburg rally had 100 coaches of all ages.  Peak production for Beaver was around 2004 or 2005, so there may be a few more of those years
2. How much does Monaco contribute to BAC?
-- Except for sponsoring a dinner now and then, none.  It used to be a lot!  It was called "sales expense" because, at a large enough rally one out of ten would be in the market for a trade up.
3. Does anyone know for sure why (no guessing now) the Beaver brand was dropped?
-- It has, is and will always be driven by market demand.  Mike Snell, the VP in charge of that kind of stuff answered directly at the Harrisburg Rally.  In the start-up of the Navistar project they measured demand from dealers.  Only one wanted some Beavers.  There was more dealer interest in the other brands, so that's where they started.  Navistar owns the Beaver brand, proudly displays the logo on their website and is gearing up parts support for existing owners.  They still want your business.  But it has to be with enough volume to be profitable.   Since they can't predict the timing of future demand, they, like you, will have to wait and see.  My bet is that about a month after everybody agrees the economy, and market for high end toys, returns some Beaver dealers will surface.  The same thing is going on with boats and airplanes in the same price range.
