You will probably find that your local dealer will only carry the 275/70/22.5 Michelin tires in the XZA2 series for an RV.

I have been doing research as the free rolling (steer) tires 275/70 R 22.5 H Goodyear G670 and G159 in that size have a uneven wear (rivering or erosive wear) pattern at about 20,000 miles. We have had the alignment checked (front and rear) at Jo Sam in Orlando which also flexes the suspension on steel plates and at Central Fl Frame and Axle in Tampa and both state that it is in spec. I have been using 115 psi in the front tires and been weighed by wheel at a Beaver Rally.

Gerald is correct about the XZA 2 when I went to the tire selector on the Michelin web site that is what it comes up with. I think it is rated J instead of H but at 130 cold psi and the wheel is rated 120 cold so use the lower psi on the tire chart.

Any imput on the tire wear isssue would be appreciated.

The G670 and the G159 are two different tires and should not be grouped together. The G159 is a short haul truck tire that has had numerous failures when used on motorhomes in sustained high speed applications. So if you have G159 tires on your coach I would suggest that you replace them now. You can Google "Goodyear G159 recall" and learn of the problems with this tire.

The uneven tread wear on the G670 is caused by a design characteristic of the tire that is caused by uneven loading across the thread area according to most tire experts but you will probably never get Goodyear to admit it. So if you have G670 tires and you are getting the uneven wear that Richard described, just tolerate them until they get to be 7 years old and replace them with Michelin or Bridgestone tires to correct the problem.
