The two new rallies will be the September 2011 International Rally in Branson MO, and the October 2011 Balloon Fiesta rally in Albuquerque NM.

The 5 future rallies that we are planning will be spaced one days drive or less apart, and will fill-in all of the time between the other two fantastic rallies. So start making your plans to attend.

The rally lineup will be:
1 A Lil' Bit of Branson Sept. 13 to 20 at Branson Mo.

2 Chillin' at Checotah Sept. 20 to 22 at Checotah Ok.

3 Oklahoma Sunshine Sept. 22 to 25 at Oklahoma City OK.

4 Kickin' Back in Amarillo Sept. 25 to 30 at Amarillo Tx.

5 and 6 are simultaneous rallies so that members have a choice of
    Enchanted High Country II Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 at Chama/Taos Nm.
  or Enchanted Santa Fe Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 at Santa Fe Nm

7 Balloons Galore Oct. 4 to 9 at Albuquerque Nm.

Rett and Claire, along with Co-Rally Masters Lamar Keck, Karen Rogers, and  Terry & Sandy Brown dry camped for a week in advance to secure the spot for the rally. Upon arrival the Eager Beavers setup their chairs along the hill that overlooks the Balloon Field to ensure a front row view of the Fiesta activities.
For the evening social everyone brought heavy hors d'oeuvres to share. Yummy food and good company made for a great social.

Gunther Hektor (a Durango resident) will lead some hardcore jeep trips in the mountains for the adventurous who own serious jeeps, and his wife Marci is going to lead some scenic four wheel trips into the mountains for us less adventurous people who drive regular four wheel drive vehicles instead of mountain goat style Jeeps

The other new rally will be the sixth annual Quartzsite Rally with Gene and Mary Ward as rally masters in January 2011. Gene and Mary are working on some new ideas to make the rally as good or better than before, but the all time favorites will still be there like great breakfasts by Jim Bull and the Quartzsite cooking team.
