Beavers in the Adirondacks, Arrive July 11 - Depart July 14, 2011:  this rally will be held at the 5 star rated Lake George RV Park and includes a sunset dinner cruise with entertainment on the steamboat Lac du Saint Sacrement.  As the rally masters say "This area of the Adirondacks has so much to offer there is not time to describe it all.  You will just have to come and see for yourself all the wonderful features that are here to enjoy."

We have the Spring BAC International Rally in our Region in 2011. It is shaping up to be a great rally with outstanding speakers, activities, and entertainment.  As the name 'Moultrie Mysteries' implies,  the rally masters at not telling all.  You will want to signup early for this one, as well as arrive a day early.  Friends of Beavers are welcome.

While in Chetwynd, we picked up a hitch-hiker who will accompany us through Alaska and southward back to San Diego.  He will visit with us at the International Rally in Harrisburg, go to Lake Tahoe, and truthfully we may keep him with us until after the balloon rally in Albuquerque.  His name is Francis the Traveling Gnome and he is the mascot of the Chetwynd Visitor Center where there are numerous chainsaw carvings which are quite intricate.  As a favor to the visitor center we are taking Francis with us and we will send periodic reports and photos back to the visitor center who will have articles regarding his travels posted in their local newspaper.  Great advertising for the club.

We will attempt to send another update when we get to Whitehorse, Yukon next week.  Hope all you Beavers are having a good time at the on-going rallies and have safe travels.
